On February 2017 the International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology has published A novel approach for comparing patterns of foreign body injuries across countries: A case study comparing European Countries and Bosnia and Herzegovina . The paper has been written by Dr. Giulia Lorenzoni, Dr. Sekib Umihanić, Dr. Danila Azzolina, Dr. Emiliano Manza, Dr. Fuad Brkić and Prof. Dario Gregori. The idea of the study was to compare the cases of Foreign body injuries of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are rapidly growing in new industrialized countries with the cases of other European countries.
The project has been realized thanks to the cases gathered by the Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Clinic, University Clinical Center of Tuzla and the cases from the Susy Safe Registry.
